Important Notice re Brexit Impact on our Pet Insurance

Please note:
the An Post Insurance Pet insurance product is underwritten by Millennium Insurance Company, a company based in Gibraltar and administered by Kainos Associates LLP, a firm based in the United Kingdom.

The outcome of the ongoing Brexit negotiations relating to the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union, will dictate whether Millennium Insurance Company and/or Kainos Associates LLP are prevented from providing Pet Insurance services to Irish customers. If they are prevented from doing this, An Post Insurance will have to take the necessary but regrettable step of ceasing to sell Pet Insurance.

It should be noted that any policy sold before Brexit will continue to be covered until its next renewal date and any claims currently being handled - or which arise before Brexit will be dealt normally - in accordance with the policy terms and conditions.
