Simply call the claims team with your Home Insurance policy number and our underwriter's experienced claims team will help you register the claim and provide you with advice you can trust and care you can rely on.

How do I make a claim under my An Post Insurance Home Insurance policy?

Extra Information

If you have an emergency in your home, we will provide a repair service to secure your home and help prevent further damage from occurring. Cover for up to €260 per incident, limited to 3 claims per policy year.

This cover is underwritten by MAPFRE ASISTENCIA Compania Internacional De Seguros Y Reaseguros, S.A., trading as MAPFRE ASSISTANCE Agency Ireland.

It is a requirement to have supporting documentation relating to the claim. For example:

  • original purchase receipts, 
  • instruction manuals, 
  • guarantees 
  • replacement estimates. 
Any cost incurred in obtaining estimates is not covered under the policy.

An Post Insurance Home Insurance is arranged and administered by An Post Insurance and is underwritten by Aviva Insurance Ireland DAC.
