In these terms and conditions:

“Activation Policy” means an Eligible Policy held by you other than your Anchor Policy

"Anchor Policy” means your Eligible Policy with the earliest start date

“Eligible Policy” means a car insurance policy and/or a home insurance policy provided by An Post Insurance and underwritten by Aviva.

“Free Travel Insurance” means a Multi-Trip European Travel policy underwritten by Chubb European Group SE

“One Direct” means One Direct (Ireland) Limited, trading as An Post Insurance having its registered office at GPO. O’Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1, regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland

“Renewal or New Policy Documents” means the documents issued to customers of An Post Insurance confirming annual cover on an Eligible Policy

The Offer:

This offer (“Offer”) is provided by One Direct (Ireland) Limited.  If a customer, buys or renews at least one car insurance policy and at least one home insurance policy with An Post Insurance, each being an “Eligible Policy”, we will give you 15% off each of your Eligible Policies (“Multi Policy Loyalty Discount”) and a free Multi-Trip European Travel policy which is valid for one year (“Free Travel Insurance”).

Terms and Conditions:

  • An Post Insurance reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or amend this offer or any of the terms or conditions thereof at any time without prior notice.
  • In order to qualify as an Activation Policy, your Eligible Policy must be a home insurance policy where your Anchor Policy is a car insurance policy; or a car insurance policy where your Anchor Policy is a home insurance policy. For the avoidance of doubt, both policies cannot be the same type of policy.
  • To be eligible for the Offer, you must be a new or existing An Post Insurance customer with a home insurance policy and a car insurance policy, with a start date or a renewal date for either your Anchor Policy or your Activation Policy which is on or after 06.12.2022
  • Eligible Policies must be issued to the same postal address.
  • The Offer applies to customers who purchase their Aviva Insurance Ireland DAC home and motor policies from An Post Insurance only.
  • The Offer is subject to a minimum premium of €320 for car insurance, €240 for home insurance and €120 for Contents only or Building only insurance.
  • Where your Anchor Policy or Activation Policy is cancelled by you and no other Eligible Policies held by you qualify as both an Anchor Policy and Activation Policy, the Offer will no longer be applicable to your existing Eligible Policies.
  • Once incepted any existing Free Travel Insurance will continue in force until its nearest renewal date, at which time the policy will no longer be offered free of charge.

Multi Policy Loyalty Discount:

  • The Multi Policy Loyalty Discount will be applied to your premium on the next renewal or start date of each Eligible Policy after 06.12.2022
  • Your Anchor Policy and Activation Policy must be active on the renewal or start date of an Eligible Policy for the Multi Policy Loyalty Discount to be applied to that Eligible Policy.
  • The Multi Policy Loyalty Discount details will be set out in the premium breakdown of your renewal notification. If the Multi Policy Loyalty Discount is not detailed in your renewal documentation, please call us on 0818 33 33 35
  • The Multi Policy Loyalty Discount is not applicable to Mid-Term Adjustments and will not be recalculated until the next renewal date.

Free Travel Insurance:

  • Free Travel Insurance is arranged, administered, and underwritten by Chubb European Group SE. The Offer does not guarantee your automatic acceptance for the Free Travel Insurance.  It will be subject to Chubb’s normal underwriting acceptance criteria which you will be required to confirm when redeeming your policy.
  • The Free Travel Insurance must be issued in the name of the Anchor Policy policyholder or Activation Policy policyholder (“Policyholder”) and is non-transferable.
  • Free travel Insurance will apply to the Policyholder, Spouse or Partner and up to 7 children of the Policyholder. Children must be under the age of 18 (or under the age of 23 and in full time education).
  • The Free Travel Insurance policy is valid for a term of one year and is not subject to renewal as part of the Offer.
  • The Free Travel Insurance policy cannot be substituted for cash or an alternative policy.
  • Free Travel Insurance may only be redeemed once per household per year.
  • In order to avail of the free travel insurance, customers must redeem the Free Travel Insurance by using the dedicated web page link which will be sent to the customer as part of their Renewal or New Policy Documents. Clicking on this dedicated web link will generate a web page which will be prepopulated with the customers promotional code, allowing the customer to avail of the Free Travel Insurance.
  • For customers who do not have online access, you can avail of the free travel insurance by calling 0818 22 22 22 please ensure you have your redemption code to hand. We will transfer you through to the travel insurer who will provide you with your one-year free travel insurance.
  • Customers must redeem and avail of their Free Travel Insurance within 6 months of the date on which the Promotional Code is generated.
  • Customers may purchase upgrades to the Free Travel Insurance, such as winter sports, car hire excess or worldwide cover. Such upgrades will be charged at the applicable rates.  In order to avail of the upgrades, please contact Chubb directly on 01 261 2069. Please ensure you have the travel insurance policy number to hand when you call.
  • Free Travel Insurance is offered subject to compliance with policy criteria and conditions.

By participating in this Offer you agree that An Post Insurance accept no responsibility and will not in any circumstances be responsible for any loss, damage or disappointment suffered by you due to oversights or delays in processing the applicable Free Travel Insurance for which they have no direct responsibility.

Jurisdiction:

The terms and conditions of this Offer are governed by Irish law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with this offer shall be dealt with exclusively by the Irish Courts.

Data Privacy:

By registering for the one-year free travel insurance, you agree that An Post Insurance may process and share the information provided by you with Chubb European Group SE for the purposes above and as required to provide the free travel insurance. Please see our Privacy Statement at https://www.anpostinsurance.ie/data-protection for further information about how we process your information or how you may access and correct the personal data that we hold about you.

 

  • This competition is open to those who participate in the An Post Insurance survey administered by the promoter. Please note the person named in the entry must be aged 18 years or older as at date of entry.   • If you choose to participate in the prize draw, we need your personal data to potentially identify that you are the winner and to distribute the prize to you. For this process we will require your name, email address and / or contact number. These details will be retained securely and only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected to a maximum of 6 months from date of survey issue. RED C will securely hold your contact details for the purposes of notifying you that you are the winner and to administer the prize to you.   • On the first Friday of each month for the duration of this survey, there will be prize draw.  Entries into the prize draw will be accepted for as long as the survey is open to those individuals selected to take part in the research in the month period immediately preceding the draw date.
  • Entries not submitted in accordance with these Terms & Conditions or that are illegible, incomplete or altered will be disqualified.
  • Only one valid entry to the competition is permitted per person per calendar month.
  • The monthly winner of the draw will be chosen at random from all completed entries received by the end of each calendar month.
  • Incomplete entries will not be eligible for the competition. RED C will not be responsible for any entries that are not received for any reason by the Closing Date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
  • RED C accepts no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this competition, including, but not limited to, incomplete, corrupt or incorrect entries or for any malfunctions, errors or viruses in the software that has been designed to maintain entrants’ details, or for any incompatibility with all, or any, hardware and/or software that entrants may use. RED C does not guarantee that any relevant website for competition entry will be available at all times or at any specific time. Proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

  • RED C reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control.
  • The winner will be randomly selected by RED C, using a random number generator associated with the respondent’s ID.
  • The decision of RED C shall be final, and no correspondence shall be entered into in that regard
  • The prize winner will be notified at the Contact Email and/or Contact Telephone Number provided within 7 days of the prize draw. 
  • The prize winner will have one month to claim their prize i.e. must confirm receipt of notification within one month of being contacted by RED C. Failure to confirm receipt of notification within the stated time will result in disqualification and another winner being selected. 
  • The prize winner will be advised of prize delivery procedure within two working days of the winner confirming receipt of notification from RED C. 
  • The prize is not transferable. There is no cash value or alternative to this prize. 
  • RED C reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Free Prize Draw at any time. The prize may change at any time without notification and is subject to availability.
  • RED C reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter or substitute the prize with any items of equal or greater value for any reason and without notification.
  • RED C does not take responsibility for any delays or difficulties experienced in the supply or use of the prize. 
  • To the extent permitted by law, RED C accepts no liability for any loss suffered by you in relation to this competition. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude the liability of RED C for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
  • Use of a false name or address by a competition entrant will disqualify them from receiving any prize.
  • The competition and these Terms & Conditions are governed by Irish Law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts which shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with the Free Prize Draw. Any disclaimer of liability by RED C under these Terms and Conditions is enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Each of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions is severable and if any such provision is held by any court or other competent authority to be illegal, void or unenforceable in whole or in part, the legality, validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall not be affected or impaired.

This Promotion is open to anyone who has taken out a Funeral Insurance Policy, resident in the Republic of Ireland. The Funeral Insurance Policy underwriting acceptance criteria will apply.

This Promotion is an offer by An Post Insurance providing customers who take out a Funeral Insurance Policy with the opportunity to avail of complimentary access to Arag’s online will writing service Portal.

  • To avail of this promotion customers must:-
    • Purchase a Funeral Insurance Policy between the following dates 1st June 2022 to 31st December 2023, and;
    • set up an account on the Portal using their email address and a password at Legal Documents (arag.ie).

“Policy” means an existing An Post Insurance Home Insurance Policy

“Welcome Pack” means a document packed issued directly by Keycare Assistance Limited to An Post Insurance customers who participate in this promotion which will include a welcome letter, policy booklet, IPID, brochure, and fob for customers' keys.

The Promotion

  • The Promotion is open to An Post Insurance Customers 18 years of age or older who holds a Policy with An Post Insurance and the Policy term has at least 3 months remaining from its expiration.
  • This Promotion is not open to employees of Keycare Assistance Limited.
  • The Promotion will provide you with 3 months complimentary Keycare Insurance Cover, which will be applied to your Policy 3 months prior to the expiry of your Policy.
  • Claims made under the Keycare Insurance Cover must be made directly to Keycare Assistance Limited and all claims will be processed and decided by them.
  • You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions applicable to Keycare Insurance Cover. See our Keycare Policy Booklet
  • We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to refuse to apply the Keycare Insurance Cover to any Policy or renewal Policy.
  • There will be an option to retain the Keycare Insurance Cover if you  are issued with a Renewal Offer for the Policy . An additional charge of €12.60 (including Government Levy) will be applied  from the renewal date of your Policy if you decide to retain the Keycare Insurance Cover from the renewal date of your  Policy. The Keycare Insurance Cover will then  be applied for the full duration of your  Policy.
  • If you choose to retain this product you will be charged €12.60 (including Government Levy)  for this optional extra, it is not mandatory that you retain this optional extra to continue with your home insurance cover.
  • When your Policy is due for renewal your option to retain the Keycare Insurance Cover will be communicated to you in the Welcome Pack,  Renewal Offer Policy documentation, by SMS and by our staff if you should contact our call centre regarding your Policy.
  • If you do not wish to retain the Keycare Insurance Cover from the renewal date of your Policy, you must advise An Post Insurance to remove the Keycare Insurance Cover before your renewal date. This instruction can be provided by phone by calling 0818 33 33 35 or by email at renewals@anpostinsurance.ie.
  • If you do not put us on notice, as set out above, that you do not wish to retain the Keycare Insurance Cover then, the Keycare Insurance Cover will be automatically applied to your Policy subject to underwriters approval,  from the renewal date and the €12.60 (including Government Levy) charge will be applied to your Policy 

Limitation on An Post Insurance’s liability

By availing of this Promotion, you agree that An Post Insurance accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or disappointment suffered by you due to oversights or delays in running this Promotion.

An Post Insurance reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify any Policyholder, to add to, amend or waive any rule without prior notice and, in the event of circumstances beyond its control, to cancel this Promotion at any stage.

  • This Promotion is open to anyone 18 years of age or over.
  • The Promotion is subject to An Post Insurance Pet Insurance underwriting acceptance criteria.
  • To be eligible to avail of the Promotion you must take out or renew a Pet Insurance Policy (excluding Gun Dog Pet Insurance) with An Post Insurance to have the opportunity to receive a complimentary 2kg bag of dog food from the Red Mills Leader dog food range or complimentary 400g bag of cat food from Red Mills Supreme cat food range, plus a money off voucher for the purchase of another bag of pet food from the same range. The money off voucher is €6 off a 6kg bag or €10 off a12kg bag of Red Mills Leader dog food range or €3 off a 2kg bag of Redmills Supreme cat food range.

  • You will then be sent an SMS from An Post Insurance containing a link to your voucher. An Post Insurance will aim to issue these SMSs every Tuesday and Thursday, however please note that there may be occasions where a delay occurs in the issuing of the car wash voucher SMS. This may be caused for example, by a bank holiday, or some other unforeseen delay. An Post Insurance does not accept any liability for a delay in the issuing of car wash vouchers as part of this promotion.

“Activation Policy” means an Eligible Policy held by you other than your Anchor Policy

"Anchor Policy” means your Eligible Policy with the earliest start date

“Eligible Policy” means a car insurance policy and/or a home insurance policy provided by An Post Insurance and underwritten by Aviva.

“Free Travel Insurance” means a Multi-Trip European Travel policy underwritten by Chubb European Group SE

“One Direct” means One Direct (Ireland) Limited, trading as An Post Insurance having its registered office at GPO. O’Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1, regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland

“Renewal or New Policy Documents” means the documents issued to customers of An Post Insurance confirming annual cover on an Eligible Policy

The Offer:

This offer (“Offer”) is provided by One Direct (Ireland) Limited.  If a customer, buys or renews at least one car insurance policy and at least one home insurance policy with An Post Insurance, each being an “Eligible Policy”, we will give you 15% off each of your Eligible Policies (“Multi Policy Loyalty Discount”) and a free Multi-Trip European Travel policy which is valid for one year (“Free Travel Insurance”).

Terms and Conditions:

  • An Post Insurance reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or amend this offer or any of the terms or conditions thereof at any time without prior notice.
  • In order to qualify as an Activation Policy, your Eligible Policy must be a home insurance policy where your Anchor Policy is a car insurance policy; or a car insurance policy where your Anchor Policy is a home insurance policy. For the avoidance of doubt, both policies cannot be the same type of policy.
  • To be eligible for the Offer, you must be a new or existing An Post Insurance customer with a home insurance policy and a car insurance policy, with a start date or a renewal date for either your Anchor Policy or your Activation Policy which is on or after 11/01/2020.
  • Eligible Policies must be issued to the same postal address.
  • The Offer applies to customers who purchase their Aviva Insurance Ireland DAC home and motor policies from An Post Insurance only.
  • The Offer is subject to a minimum premium of €320 for car insurance, €240 for home insurance and €120 for Contents only or Building only insurance.
  • Where your Anchor Policy or Activation Policy is cancelled by you and no other Eligible Policies held by you qualify as both an Anchor Policy and Activation Policy, the Offer will no longer be applicable to your existing Eligible Policies.
  • Once incepted any existing Free Travel Insurance will continue in force until its nearest renewal date, at which time the policy will no longer be offered free of charge.

Multi Policy Loyalty Discount:

  • The Multi Policy Loyalty Discount will be applied to your premium on the next renewal or start date of each Eligible Policy after 11/01/2020.
  • Your Anchor Policy and Activation Policy must be active on the renewal or start date of an Eligible Policy for the Multi Policy Loyalty Discount to be applied to that Eligible Policy.
  • The Multi Policy Loyalty Discount details will be set out in the premium breakdown of your renewal notification. If the Multi Policy Loyalty Discount is not detailed in your renewal documentation, please call us on 0818 33 33 35
  • The Multi Policy Loyalty Discount is not applicable to Mid-Term Adjustments and will not be recalculated until the next renewal date.

Free Travel Insurance:

  • Free Travel Insurance is arranged, administered, and underwritten by Chubb European Group SE. The Offer does not guarantee your automatic acceptance for the Free Travel Insurance.  It will be subject to Chubb’s normal underwriting acceptance criteria which you will be required to confirm when redeeming your policy.
  • The Free Travel Insurance must be issued in the name of the Anchor Policy policyholder or Activation Policy policyholder (“Policyholder”) and is non-transferable.
  • Free travel Insurance will apply to the Policyholder, Spouse or Partner and up to 7 children of the Policyholder. Children must be under the age of 18 (or under the age of 23 and in full time education).
  • The Free Travel Insurance policy is valid for a term of one year and is not subject to renewal as part of the Offer.
  • The Free Travel Insurance policy cannot be substituted for cash or an alternative policy.
  • Free Travel Insurance may only be redeemed once per household per year.
  • In order to avail of the free travel insurance, customers must redeem the Free Travel Insurance by using the dedicated web page link which will be sent to the customer as part of their Renewal or New Policy Documents. Clicking on this dedicated web link will generate a web page which will be prepopulated with the customers promotional code, allowing the customer to avail of the Free Travel Insurance.
  • For customers who do not have online access, you can avail of the free travel insurance by calling 0818 22 22 22 please ensure you have your redemption code to hand. We will transfer you through to the travel insurer who will provide you with your one-year free travel insurance.
  • Customers must redeem and avail of their Free Travel Insurance within 6 months of the date on which the Promotional Code is generated.
  • Customers may purchase upgrades to the Free Travel Insurance, such as winter sports, car hire excess or worldwide cover. Such upgrades will be charged at the applicable rates.  In order to avail of the upgrades, please contact Chubb directly on 01 261 2069. Please ensure you have the travel insurance policy number to hand when you call.
  • Free Travel Insurance is offered subject to compliance with policy criteria and conditions.

By participating in this Offer you agree that An Post Insurance accept no responsibility and will not in any circumstances be responsible for any loss, damage or disappointment suffered by you due to oversights or delays in processing the applicable Free Travel Insurance for which they have no direct responsibility.

Jurisdiction:

The terms and conditions of this Offer are governed by Irish law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with this offer shall be dealt with exclusively by the Irish Courts.
