Don’t have your car or home insurance policy with An Post Insurance?

• You will need to take out a home insurance policy and a car insurance policy (please note, both must be underwritten by Aviva Insurance Ireland DAC) with us.
• You will get a 15% discount on the second policy you take out. Once this policy is set up, you'll be eligible for one year free multi-trip European travel insurance.
• Then when your first policy is due for renewal you will be eligible for the 15% discount for that policy.

Already have your home insurance policy with An Post Insurance?

• You’ll get a 15% discount on an An Post Insurance car policy if underwritten by Aviva Insurance Ireland DAC, and once it’s set up you’ll be eligible to free multi-trip European travel insurance valid for one year.
• Then when your home policy is due for renewal you will be eligible for the 15% discount on that policy too.

Already have your car insurance policy with An Post Insurance? (please note the car policy must be underwritten by Aviva Insurance Ireland DAC)

• You’ll get a 15% discount on your An Post Insurance home policy and once it’s set up you’ll be eligible for free multi-trip European travel insurance valid for one year.
• Then when your car policy is due for renewal you will also be eligible for the 15% discount on your policy to be renewed.

Please note the car policy must be underwritten by Aviva Insurance Ireland DAC.

• If you already have a car and home policy with An Post Insurance (both underwritten by Aviva Insurance Ireland DAC), with a start date or a renewal date for either or both policies which is on or after 11/01/2020 you can then claim your free multi-trip European travel insurance valid for one year.
• You will be eligible for the 15% discount at the renewal for your second policy.

You do not need to purchase both policies at the same time. However it is important to note that the first policy will not be eligible for a 15% until renewal. However, you may be eligible for other discounts such as a no claims discount.

The second policy will be eligible for a 15% discount when it is purchased.~

In order to avail of the free travel insurance, customers must redeem the Free Travel Insurance by using the dedicated web page link which will be sent to the customer as part of their Renewal or New Policy Documents and via SMS when applicable. Clicking on this dedicated web link will generate a web page that will be pre-populated with the customer's promotional code, allowing the customer to avail of the Free Travel Insurance.

For customers who do not have online access, you can avail of the free travel insurance by calling 0818 22 22 22. We will transfer you through to the travel insurer who will provide you with your one year free travel insurance.

Your Free Annual Multi-Trip Family Travel Insurance promo code can be found on the cover letter of your Car or Home Insurance policy documentation. Or in the SMS we would have issued you once your Car or Home Insurance policy went active, provided we have an SMS phone number on file for you. Alternatively, you can call 0818 33 33 33 and our Customer Care team can send you a Travel Promotion Code re-issue letter. 

Customers must redeem and avail of their Free Travel Insurance within 6 months of the date on which the Promotional Code is generated.
